If you would like me to write a constructive website review for you, and yes for free, then check out my blog post and read how you too can get a free website review!
Wogan May, is an 18 year old from South Africa and is the blog owner of http://www.woganmay.com. Wogan likes to write about interesting Internet phenomenons, cool web sites, technologies, services, and other things.
Wogan is also giving away some domain names for free, yup thats right you don’t have to pay any money, just entrecard credit currency. Currently he is asking for 100 Entrecard credits per domain. It is quite a bargain, especialy since you can earn 100 Entrecard credits, in literally an hour’s time.

Theme Design
As of today, it appears that Wogan May has a new theme on his blog. The blog is simple and elegant, but not unique. It feels like other blogs that I have visited, but with just some modifications to it. That’s not to say it’s a bad thing. The blog is still in its beginning roots, and a theme designed in the way it is, suits it just fine. In the end the content prevails. In the future once the blog gets to be successful, It will be a great idea to get a new blog, it shows improvement. It speaks out, ‘change’, change in the path of where the blog’s success is going.
Critiques
Reduced Image Sizes

On the navigation, three of the images are scaled down from their original size. The original size of photos are 125×125. However, they are being displayed in a scaled down version showing at approximately 100×100 size. The reduced scaled down size, reduces the quality, and as you can see with the farthest to right image, the user or reader to the blog may have a hard time reading that it says “Your Ad Here”. Alternatively, users will be unsure whether or not to actually place their ad since, it would be a reduced quality image.
However, I can tell you that, 3 images side by side, will not work, and that is probably why Wogan reduced the image size. The problem is that the navigation width is approximately 350 pixels in width. And if you do the math, 125 multiplied by 3 is exactly 375 pixels. The simple solution is to do only 2 125×125 images per row.
Being that it is a new theme, I am sure that Wogan May, is already aware of this, and will be fixing it up soon.
Visitor Map Widget

I see this alot on blogs, and my personal feelings on this, is that in the end, the blog could be better off without this widget.
The Cons
*Takes Up Precious Blog Space
*Increases Blog Load Times
The Pros
*Interesting at best
As you can see, The Cons outweigh the Pros. I really can’t think of any other pros to keep the widget, can you?
On an interesting note, I found a smiley face at the bottom of the blog, it was kinda of like i-spy. See if you can find it!

Thanks for the review.
Yes, the theme is still new. As it is now, it’s a standard black WP Premium. I will be changing it to blue-black-white over the course of the next week - as well as a legion of other little tweaks.
Lol. I used HTML to resize those 125×125 images to 100×100 as a temporary fix. I did go back a few minutes later to resample them
You go too quickly, man.
As for the ClustrMap - I can agree that it takes up space, and looks somewhat ugly on the site. Maybe I should remove it …
And as for those domains - I registered them whenever I had a bright idea for a site. When I realised I couldn’t code 42 sites at once, I parked them, and they have been gathering dust ever since. So if someone else is able to use them, then by all means
Thanks again!

I think that the best thing about your review of Wogan May’s site is that HE was able to make use of your observations. Blog reviews that don’t bring anything to the owner of the blog site are useless.
Based upon Wogan’s response, he really took your review to heart and even agreed with some of your points.
I’m not crazy about that visitor map either, but I understand it. I have a scrolling “Visitor By Country” counter on my blog. Not only do I like it, but I have a paid advertiser on my blog who was particularly drawn to it, go figure.
That map really should be removed. I saw another version on a different blog which had the whole globe spinning round and round. Slows down your page load times. And you could do a better use of your space there.
This is a value added concept. Humans reviewing and providing input on web sites. The best part it’s free because you like sharing and helping.
